On November 15, 2000, we renamed our faculty and became the John Molson School of Business, after one of Canada's most prestigious business leaders.

In 1782, John Molson came to the New World with a pioneering spirit and a determination to succeed. In addition to founding a brewing and malting business, he played a central role in Montreal's economy and in the development of Canada's transportation and banking industries.

As a source of inspiration, the name John Molson reflects our high academic standards, our commitment to business excellence and our entrepreneurial spirit.

At the John Molson School of Business, our students enjoy direct and open access to over 139 full-time and 110 part-time faculty members who are outstanding educators and productive researchers. They are drawn from 25 ethnic backgrounds and collectively speak over 30 languages. Situated in beautiful, multi-cultural, downtown Montreal, our business school is an integral part of the city's vibrant business community.

Our strengths lie in the relevance and quality of our programs, our diverse, extraordinary student body, our renowned faculty and alumni and our dedicated support staff. We pride ourselves on equipping our students with critical skills that are not only demanded by today's employers but are skills that will last a lifetime.
